Heritage Ministries Track at LDI

2009 Leadership Development Institute
April 21-24, 2009

Heritage Ministries will be offering a special track during LDI this year.

Session 1 – Tuesday Afternoon, April 21
Instructor: Dr. David Roebuck
“From Camp Creek. . .”
Dr. Roebuck will do an overview of our early church history up to 1923 and its relevance today

Dr. Roebuck is the Director of the Dixon Pentecostal Research Center

Session 2 – Tuesday Afternoon, April 21
Dr. Roebuck continues

Session 3 – Wednesday Morning, April 22
Instructor: Dr. E.C. McKinley
“. . .to a Worldwide Movement”
Dr. McKinley will do an overview of our history from 1923 to the present and its relevance today

Dr. McKinley is the Presiding Bishop for the Church of God of Prophecy in Tennessee

Session 4 – Wednesday Morning, April 22
Dr. McKinley continues

Session 5 - Wednesday Afternoon, April 22
Instructor: Bishop Tim Coalter
"Our Heritage is Positively Pentecostal"

Bishop Coalter is the Presiding Bishop for the Church of God of Prophecy in South Carolina

Session 6 - Wednesday Afternoon, April 22
Bishop Coalter continues

Session 7 - Thursday Morning, April 23
Testimonies of our Heritage
Ministers who were a part of our heritage share their stories

Session 8 - Thursday Morning, April 23
Instructor: Bishop David Bryan
"The Church Today - Touching the Globe"

Bishop Bryan is the Global Outreach Director for the Church of God of Prophecy

Session 9 – Thursday Afternoon, April 23
Instructor: Bishop Randy Howard
“Balancing our Heritage and our Core Values”

Bishop Howard is the General Overseer for the Church of God of Prophecy

Session 10 – Thursday Afternoon, April 23
Instructor: Paul Holt
“Heritage Ministries & Its Relevance Today”

Bishop Holt is the Heritage Ministries Director for the Church of God of Prophecy

All Friday Day - April 24
Field trip to Barney Creek, First Assembly House, Shearer Schoolhouse site, and Fields of the Wood. Lunch at Fields of the Wood.
